The Creswick Development Committee wishes to express their appreciation for the support of hosting and maintaining the Creswick Community & Business Directory 2005/2006 on-line.

Your support of this community initiative has enabled the data contained in this document to be maintained and kept up-to-date which will benefit the Directory when it is reprinted next year.

The site has been acknowledged by community members as being exceptionally professional, easy to access, an asset for not only the locals but also as a tool to attract new business to the area plus support local tourism.

In the middle of 2005 we bought a small business, having been farmers all of our working life this was a great change.
The business is a removalist and storage business using shipping containers, we also hire containers and sell them.

The previous owners had a web site but it was looking out of date and needed upgrading.
We were getting some business cards printed when we asked this person if he knew of anyone who could update our web page. He took our details and said he would pass them on to an associate of his.

Within days David from UBC made contact with us and came to our home to discuss our needs, and to give us advice on how to improve our web page. With his expertise and some photo’s and information that we gave him our web page was complete.
Since then there has been a noticeable difference in the amount of enquiries we receive and online quotes to be done. I am sure this is a result of the work UBC did on our web page, and I would recommend them to anyone who was looking at updating.
Even when I had a computer problem David went out of his way to come to my home and fix things.
